This is the time of year when people traditionally reflect on the past 12 months, begin planning for the new year, and – of course – celebrate with family and friends.
For all of us at Lightbox, this has been a momentous year. In may, we announced our brand to the world. In September, we launched e-commerce in the U.S. And in late November, we opened our very first pop-up, at the Oculus in New York City. It has been personally very exciting and gratifying to finally see out jewelry being worn by real people out in the world, and to hear feedback directly from you.
We started out with the idea of transforming the lab-grown diamond jewelry space. Having talked to lots of jewelry lovers, it was clear there was some confusion about what lab-grown diamonds are, and how they are made – along with plenty of interest in a new category of beautiful jewelry that could be worn everywhere from Coachella to the beach or a fun night out. Lightbox is the result of a lot of planning, working, and dreaming to give you that jewelry. Along the way, we hope to help people learn more about lab-grown diamonds in a completely transparent way.
We could not have arrived at this point without you. Thanks to your early support – by signing up for our newsletters, purchasing our jewelry, coming by the pop-up, or sharing your comments – we’re on our way. (And please – keep those comments coming! They truly help guide us in creating our future collections.)
